Constitutional Act

of 30 November 1967

on national committees operating in the capital city Prague

The National Assembly of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic enacted the following Constitutional Act:

§ 1

Status and competences of the national committees in the capital city Prague are enshrined in a separate act.

§ 2

The article 91 of the Constitution is therefore changed to following wording:

“Art. 91

(1)   There are regional, district and in municipalities municipal or local, in municipal districts of certain cities there are district national committees.

(2)   In Prague there is a National Committee of the capital city Prague and other national committees specified by law; the law also enshrines their status and competences.

§ 3

This Constitutional Act comes into effect the day of its promulgation.
