CONSTITUTIONAL ACT

of 27 November 2001,

that amends the Constitutional Act no. 1/1993 Coll., the Constitution of the Czech Republic, as amended by the Constitutional Act no. 347/1997 Coll., the Constitutional Act no. 300/2000 Coll. and the Constitutional Act no. 395/2001 Coll.

The Parliament has enacted the following Constitutional Act of the Czech Republic:

Art. I

The art. 98 section 1 of the Constitutional Act no. 1/1993 Coll., reads as follows:

“(1) The Czech National Bank is the central bank of the state. The main objective of its activities is to care for price stability; interventions to its activities are only permissible on the basis of a law.“

Art II

This Constitutional Act comes into effect the first day of the month following the day of its promulgation.
